We are a full service moving company. We do local and state to state moving. We pack, dissassemble and resassemble furniture, and load trucks. We also sell moving supplies to help protect furniture or other items being moved. Modern Movers was founded in 1999 by Larry Hill in Mobile, AL. Modern Movers does commercial and residential moving.

We are licensed, bonded, and insured. We accept all major forms of credit cards cash and personal checks. We do commercial and residential moving. Moving insurance is offered by Darling Agency in Mobile, AL.

A minimum of three hours is required. Two men $89.00/hr, Three Men $99.00/hr. Interstate moving (State-to-State) requires a salesperson to go out and assess what the customer has to be moved and a flat rate quote will be given at that time. A one time fuel surcharge of $40.00 will be automatically included on all moves locally. We also provide men who will help with moving labor into a customer personal vehicle. Two men $69.00/hr or 3 men $79.00/hr.(this is a seperate service we offer). After move clean-up is also available for one flat rate. A salesperson will go out and assess the size of the house to give an accurate rate quote for after move clean up. We also provide storage climate and non-climate control. Non-climate 10x10-$89.00/mo 10x20-$109.00; Climate 10x10-$129.00, 10x20- $179.00.
